One American history curriculum, for instance, manages to teach about the succession of southern states to form the Confederate States of America without ever mentioning slavery.

Downloadable unit study outlines in the form of lists: resources (books, videos, music, websites), projects, spelling, vocabulary, cultural literacy, critical thinking challenges. Classroom-based but easily adapted for home education.

The “What a Revolting Development, or, Porky’s Revenge” unit uses Orwells’s Animal Farm and covers government and politics, economics, business and finance, algebra, propaganda, freedom of speech, literature.

Sample units are free. Others available for a membership fee. All age levels.
